The Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works collaboratively with our dermatologists to provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include assisting with patient flow, supporting physicians during examinations and procedures, EMR scribing, cosmetic and surgical assisting, laser hair removal, photodynamic therapy, laboratory duties, and phlebotomy.

Starting Pay Range:

• $22-$28.50 per hour 

Duties:

• Provide direct assistance to physicians for surgical and medical procedures such as excisions, skin biopsies, wart treatments, cosmetic services, etc.

• Room patients and stay with patient throughout visit to scribe for physician in EMR system
• Perform clinical & administrative duties including laser hair removal, photodynamic therapy, injections, phlebotomy, instrument cleaning, specimen handling, phone calls, scheduling, and patient education

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Practical Nursing Program with a current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA or LPN) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment
• Ability to multi-task and to provide services to patients in a warm and professional manner
• EMR experience; ability to document/scribe in a detailed manner

Schedule: Full Time, 34 hrs./week, Tuesday – Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
