JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The College of Arts & Architecture's Integrative Arts program seeks to fill part-time instructional positions responsible for teaching web-based courses in Video Game Design. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as needed.

The College of Arts and Architecture's Integrative Arts program is seeking part-time instructors to teach online courses in video game design. This role is ideal for an educator with a passion for game design who is eager to help guide students on their journey to become game creators and excited to help students think critically about foundational elements of design.

The successful candidate will be capable of creating an engaging online learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, collaboration, critique and critical inquiry. Successful candidates will help students build strong design foundations through hands-on creation, play analysis, discussion, iteration, and reflection. They should be excited to teach students how games function as systems, stories, cultural artifacts, and forms of creative expression.
