Responsibilities:

The School of Nursing and Health Sciences of North Park University invites applications from interested clinical adjunct faculty with expertise in the following areas for the BSN and Direct Entry MSN (pre-license) programs.

Obstetrical/newborn

Pediatrics

Community/Public Health

Psych/Mental Health

Adult Health I and II (advanced)

Fundamentals

As a part-time clinical instructor, adjunct faculty are contracted on a term-by-term basis. There is no guarantee of continuous employment. The adjunct instructor will teach a diverse student population.

Compensation is by clinical. The starting compensation for clinical compensation starts at $3,968. No benefits are provided for this position.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Nursing
  • Two years of RN practice experience
  • Unencumbered Illinois RN license
  • Possess a clear understanding and personal commitment to North Park University’s mission of Christian higher education.
  • Have good attention to detail and excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Comfortable with using new technology.
