Responsibilities may include assisting with daily activities like bathing, feeding, and mobility, as well as measuring vital signs and documenting patient information. This role is common in hospitals, nursing homes, and home healthcare settings, offering flexibility for those balancing other commitments.

What are the typical work hours and shift patterns for a part time nursing assistant?

Part Time Nursing Assistants often work flexible schedules that may include evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts, depending on the needs of the healthcare facility. Shifts are typically 4 to 8 hours long, allowing for rotation through various times of day to support patient care at all hours. This flexibility makes it easier to balance work with school, family, or other commitments. Team collaboration is important, as you’ll often communicate with full-time staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
