About the Role:
Jennifer Gwozdz MD PA is looking for a dedicated Nurse or Medical Assistant to join our growing medical practice in Katy. This is  a Part time position 9am to 2pm Monday - Friday. We are a friendly walk-in family practice. We are looking for a calm, competent, pleasent person to treat our patients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside our team in a patient-focused environment where your skills and kindness truly make a difference every day. 

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the physician with patient examinations, procedures, and clinical care
  • Record patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints accurately in the EMR system
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper supply inventory
  • Administer medications, injections, and treatments as directed by the physician
  • Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with front office staff
  • Handle patient inquiries, follow-up calls, and prescription refill requests
  • Assist with lab specimen collection, processing, and results communication
Requirements:
  • Active RN, LVN, or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) credential required
  • Prior clinical experience in a physician's office or outpatient setting preferred
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software
  • Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, vital signs, and patient care protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred
