Registered Nurse (RN)
Danville Services is seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-Time Nurse (RN) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Salt Lake County programs. This role focuses on medication management, health oversight, staff support, and coordination of care to ensure client safety, wellness, and compliance with medical orders and state regulations. Schedule is flexible, with an expectation of being present in programs 3-4 days per week.
Wage and Benefits:

Responsibilities
  • Administer and oversee medications per physician orders and company policy
  • Review and maintain Medication Administration Records (MARs) and Physician Standing Orders (PSOs)
  • Coordinate medication refills with pharmacies and providers
  • Provide nursing assessments and monitor clients for changes in condition
  • Communicate with providers, case managers, pharmacies, and families as needed
  • Support and educate direct support staff on medication administration, health concerns, and safety practices
  • Assist with medical appointments, follow-ups, and care coordination
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, agency policies, and documentation standards
  • Participate in incident follow-up, medication error reviews, and quality improvement efforts
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to program managers and staff
  • Active interaction with each of our individuals
  • Completion of daily documentation

Requirements:
  • RN degree from an accredited nursing school and proof of active license
  • Minimum of 1 year nursing experience and/or experience with developmental disabilities
  • At least 21-yrs-old with at least 3 years of driving experience and valid driver's license to help facilitate resident appointments
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
