School Sisters of St. Francis is looking to hire a RN Health Advocate for 1st shift. The position is scheduled for 56 hours per pay period. The position requires a weekend on-call rotation.

Seeking a qualified candidate for 'transitional' nursing care for our aging population. Working with the Sisters as they 'age in place' while they manage changes in their healthcare and living environments.

School Sisters of St. Francis is a non-profit, religious organization located in Milwaukee, WI. Within the campus, there is a non-regulated assisted living facility for retired nuns. The core characteristics of this organization are hospitality, service, respect, and support. We offer independent apartment living, to assisted, to complete support with end-of-life care.

At School Sisters of St. Francis, our staff gets to know and interact with those they serve while assuring quality of life - physical, social, psychological, and Spiritual. We are seeking an individual who would fit our compassionate environment caring for retired religious Sisters. The Health Advocate position requires a continuing commitment to professional development in the fields of health care related to the needs of the Sisters served, and the development of networks of professional contracts to enhance the effectiveness of services provided. At School Sisters of St. Francis, you can develop meaningful relationships with the Sisters and provide quality nursing care due to our excellent ratio of staff to Sister.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Three years of related experience as a RN; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience working with geriatric population required.

Experience in a Long-Term Care environment preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Current and valid unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.

CPR Certification.

Unencumbered driver's license and vehicle insurance.
