Located in Bonners Ferry, ID, our practice is dedicated to fostering trust and exceptional care for patients of all ages. We are excited to welcome a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our experienced team. This role offers flexible part-time or full-time positions, working closely with our seasoned hygienists and dentists. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to promoting oral health through patient education and excellent clinical care.

Make patients feel comfortable and at ease prior to their dental examinations
Properly sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Conduct oral health screenings and reviews of patient dental histories
Identify dental conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis
Perform professional teeth cleanings and help protect dental health
Educate patients of all ages on effective oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Provide post-operative care instructions following dental procedures
Take dental X-rays as needed for patient diagnosis and treatment planning
Assist dentists in selecting and implementing appropriate treatment plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts in compliance with health regulations

Salary Range

Part-time $40 - $52 per hour

Monday to Thursday: 8 AM โ€“ 5 PM
Friday: 8 AM โ€“ 4 PM
Saturdays and Sundays: Closed

Requirements
  • Basic life support
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Valid Dental Hygienist license to practice in Idaho
Diploma in Dental Hygiene or equivalent credential
CPR and AED certification required
Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and dental assisting procedures
Experience with dental equipment preparation and maintenance
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, patient demeanor
Proven ability to work effectively within a team setting
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet the physical demands of the role

Previous experience in a dental practice setting is desirable but not required
