About The Opportunity

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking an Optometrist (OD) to provide care across multiple locations throughout Arizona.

This is a field-based role where you'll function as an extension of the clinical care team, delivering essential vision services directly to patients in a consistent, well-supported environment serving senior populations.

If you're looking for meaningful, mission-driven work with schedule consistency — without the overhead and administrative burden of running your own practice — this opportunity offers flexibility and strong operational support.

The Setting

This opportunity operates across established long-term care and skilled nursing environments.

• Facilities have consistent patient volume and support staff
• Organized scheduling and coordinated patient flow
• Structured, repeatable weekly routes
• Focus on serving senior and underserved populations

We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics — allowing you to focus entirely on patient care.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide treatment recommendations
• Work alongside facility staff to coordinate patient care
• Deliver consistent, high-quality care across assigned locations

What Makes This Different

This is not a traditional retail or private practice model.

Our providers operate in a structured environment with a predictable schedule and consistent patient base.

We emphasize:

• Quality over volume
• Consistency and route-based scheduling
• Full administrative and logistical support
• Long-term facility partnerships
• Mission-driven care for senior populations

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active Arizona optometry license
• Experience with geriatric populations preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
• Comfortable working in a mobile, multi-location setting

Schedule

• 2–6 days per month, Tuesday through Friday availability preferred
• Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• No nights
• No weekends
• No billing or administrative responsibilities
