A Part Time NICU Utilization Review nurse is a registered nurse who works part-time and specializes in reviewing the medical necessity, appropriateness, and efficiency of care provided to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). They assess patient records, treatment plans, and resource use to ensure compliance with healthcare policies, insurance guidelines, and best practices.
