Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time, On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) supporting our Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT) Centers in Provo, Utah, with opportunities to float to additional outpatient and residential programs when needed. This flexible role puts you right at the heart of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing severe mental illness and complex behavioral health needs. As an RN with Wasatch Behavioral Health, you'll provide essential follow-up medical care, partner closely with treatment teams, and use your clinical expertise in a fast-paced, meaningful environment. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $31.48–$39.87/hour and an incredible chance to grow professionally while making a direct impact in your community.

What You'll Do as a Registered Nurse

  • Administer, monitor, and document medications, assessing and responding to side effects or adverse reactions
  • Complete medical assessments, admission procedures, and thorough client progress documentation
  • Partner with psychiatrists, medical providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered treatment plans
  • Coordinate medical appointments, medication assistance programs, and continuity-of-care needs for residential clients
  • Conduct urine screenings along with physical and mental health evaluations as clinically appropriate
  • Provide client education and facilitate groups on medication compliance, wellness, and healthy coping strategies
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, medical professionals, and community agencies to ensure clear, coordinated care

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • Current Utah RN or LPN license
  • Experience working in mental or behavioral health settings preferred
  • Knowledge of psychotropic medications, side effects, and drug interactions
  • Experience with patient counseling, engagement, and mental health treatment programs
