Typical volume around 15 follow up patients per day. This need is outpatient only and entails clinic follow up visits, infusion oversight and call responsibilities only. No hospital coverage is needed. Support staff:Work with 2 other MDs and 2 NPs in the practice. Ancillary staff includes RNs, MAs, coordinators, front desk staff, and analyst.EMR System: Organization uses CERNER ONCOLOGY/POWERCHART. Experience with CERNER is highly preferred.Dates of Coverage Needed:Fulltime or 3 days a week for December 2016 potentially through June or July 2017Shift(s) Needed: 8A-5:00P Job DescriptionClinic/Private Practice hours along with call hours. No hospital hours. Average number of scheduled patients per day: 15 follow up patients/dayNumber of Physicians in practice: 2 MD's, How many midlevel's provide coverage: 2 NP'sDescribe office ancillary staff: EHT office = 4 core infusion RN's (12 chairs), 2practice RN's, 2 MA's, 5 coordinators,1 authorization analyst CMCH=2 infusion RN's, 2 practice MA's, 1.5 front desk, .5 authorization analystCall Details: The Department of Medical Oncology uses Alpha answering services which takes the message, forwards the call to the on call provider during off hours/weekends. The provider on call will address any call issues, and report off in the morning to the team. Cell phone provided by member.Weekday Call Hours: Rotation of the on call providers.
