Job description

Position Title: Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (Per Diem)

Location: Relevium - Fort Apache Surgery Center

Job Type: Per Diem

Schedule: 1-2 Days per Month

About Us: We are dedicated to providing top-notch neurological care to our patients. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art facilities and our commitment to patient-centered care. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis.

Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced and certified Nerve Conduction Technologist to perform nerve conduction studies (NCS) and assist in the diagnosis of various neuromuscular disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrodiagnostic testing, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be working closely with Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Doctor to complete NCS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nerve conduction studies (NCS) in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  • Prepare patients for testing, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Accurately record and analyze test results, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
  • Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in performing nerve conduction studies.
  • Strong understanding of electrodiagnostic testing and neuromuscular disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Familiarity with EMG (electromyography) testing is a plus.

Schedule:

  • This is a per diem position requiring availability 1-2 days per month. Specific days will be scheduled in advance based on clinic needs and your availability.
