JOB DESCRIPTION

Eggs Up Grill is hiring immediately for a part time Hosts/Hostess to join our team! Eggs Up Grill serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch daily from 6am to 2pm. Shift times will vary during the weekdays but on the weekends -Saturday & Sunday from 8am to 2pm depending on the volume of guests that day.


A Host/Hostess is the first person the guest sees and the last: you are the face of the restaurant!

Job Details:

  • Welcome guests warmly by opening the door, smiling and making eye contact as they enter the restaurant
  • Seat guests, handing the appropriate menu(s) to each guest after they’re seated.
  • Communicate with servers and managers regarding availability of tables, seating of large parties, or special requests so that guests receive great service.
  • Handle guests’ complaints by listening to their concerns, always informing a manager, and resolving issues to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  • Phone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills are a must. Be able to answer phones to take orders and guest requests.
  • Entering electronic orders for guests that phone in or walk-in
  • Prepare to-go orders for completion including third party, online, and phone orders orders
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Prior hosting experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Rate of pay is negotiable and depends on skillset and level of experience.
