Job Title: Catholic Religious Education Director
Location: McConnell AFB, KS
Job Type: Part-Time/Contract Position
Position Overview:
Ladgov Corporation is seeking a Catholic Religious Education Director to coordinate and manage faith formation programs for children, youth, adults, and families. The selected candidate will oversee religious education activities, sacramental preparation programs, volunteer coordination, curriculum implementation, and administrative support functions that contribute to the spiritual development of the Catholic community.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, coordinate, and administer Catholic Religious Education programs.
  • Organize and oversee faith formation classes, sacramental preparation programs, and seasonal educational activities.
  • Coordinate programs such as First Reconciliation, First Communion, Confirmation, RCIA, Vacation Bible School, retreats, and special events.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and support volunteer catechists and program assistants.
  • Maintain student registrations, attendance records, sacramental records, and program databases.
  • Prepare annual calendars, educational plans, supply requests, and program documentation.
  • Coordinate classroom assignments, event logistics, and instructional resources.
  • Support community-wide faith formation initiatives and collaborative ministry activities.
  • Provide regular program updates, reports, and administrative documentation.
  • Promote a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages spiritual growth and participation.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Catechist or equivalent Catholic Religious Education certification.
  • Active practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church.
  • Experience teaching, coordinating, or administering Catholic religious education programs.
  • Knowledge of Catholic doctrine, sacraments, and faith formation principles.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with children, youth, families, and volunteers.
