Hours per week: 20 hours, Part Time

Job Summary:
This position provides assistants with operational logistics/supplies, communication, volunteer coordination, ensuring weekly programs, check-in's, and special events run safely and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Setting up classrooms, sanitizing spaces and ensuring adequate supplies. (1 Corinthians 14:40)
• Maintaining all resources and ordering more supplies as needed and noted by Serve Team members. (Ephesians 4:16)
• Focus on routine communication with parents, staff, and volunteers including a monthly newsletter discussing curriculum, etc. (Proverbs 22:6)
• Maintain and update family information in Ministry Platform
• Responsible for recruiting and onboarding classroom leaders, teachers, and support Team members year-round. (Acts 20:28)
• Ensure classrooms maintain appropriate adult-to-child ratios.
• This will include creation of a Team based scheduling system to build consistent relationships for the Serve Teams, parents, and children. (Matthew 5:16)
• Adhere to all Calvary Chapel childcare policies and procedures (1 Corinthians 15:58)
• Attend all mandatory childcare and Calvary Kids Viera meetings
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Supervisor (Colossians 3:23)
Job Skills and Competencies:
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and communications skills, especially with parents (Colossians 4:6)
• Proficiency in church management software, database systems, and basic office applications. (Proverbs 16:3)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook for email)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information (Proverbs 11:13)
• Ability to lift 35 pounds
Other Qualifications:
• Calvary Chapel Viera must be your home church with regular attendance
• Keep the ministry in the forefront of all you do, with a servant heart and optimistic attitude
