Job description

Midwest Express Co., established in 1983 and headquartered in Illinois, is a respected leader in expedited freight and line-haul trucking throughout the Midwest and beyond. The company is currently seeking dedicated Class A Truck Drivers in Clarion, PA, to join its team and help maintain its reputation for reliable and efficient transportation solutions. This is a part-time, weekday position with  the opportunity to be part of a company that prioritizes its employees' well-being and success.

JOB DETAILS:  PART TIME, 0700 START TIME WITH DAYS SCHEDULED DEPENDENT ON FREIGHT, WEEKENDS OFF.  $23.50-$24.50 (dependent on HazMat), PAID WEEKLY.  MUST BE WILLING TO DRIVE BOX TRUCK, AS WELL.Responsibilities
  • Operate a Class A commercial vehicle/box truck safely for pick-up and delivery (PUD) 
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight to customers
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to maintain high service standards
  • Accurately complete required documentation and logs
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Strong commitment to safety and customer service
  • Ability to perform vehicle inspections and follow company procedures
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
