Position Overview

Blueline Security Services LLC is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Lobby Desk / Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact at a Class A office building located in Pike & Rose.

This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming environment while supporting the safety and security of the property. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a polished professional appearance, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining awareness of lobby activity.

The Lobby Desk / Receptionist represents both Blueline Security Services and our client. Professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff the front desk during assigned business hours.

  • Welcome tenants, visitors, contractors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Verify visitors and direct them to the appropriate office or suite.

  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes when required.

  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general inquiries.

  • Monitor lobby activity and report suspicious or unusual behavior to management.

  • Communicate effectively with property management, tenants, and Blueline Operations.

  • Utilize a company-issued cell phone to communicate through phone calls, text messages, and email.

  • Maintain accurate daily activity logs and complete all required reports.

  • Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift.

  • Follow all site-specific post orders, emergency procedures, and client expectations.

  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor during routine and emergency situations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Previous receptionist, concierge, customer service, or security experience preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and email.

  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Must be dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.

  • Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods as required.

  • Must successfully pass a background investigation and any client-required screening.

Professional Appearance

This position requires daily interaction with executives, tenants, and visitors. Professional business attire is mandatory at all times while on duty.

Employees are expected to present a polished and professional appearance that reflects the standards of both Blueline Security Services LLC and our client. Business attire includes dress slacks, a collared dress shirt or professional blouse, and appropriate dress shoes. Clothing must be neat, clean, wrinkle-free, and well-maintained. Casual clothing, jeans, leggings, athletic wear, hoodies, sneakers, hats, or other non-business attire are not permitted unless specifically authorized by management.
