Armed Security Guard

Job Type: Part-time, Non-Exempt

Salary: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Work Location: In-person (Greater Bay Area)

Available Shifts

Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Swing Shift: 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM

Grave Shift: 12:30 AM - 8:30 AM

Position Overview

As an Armed Security Guard at Diligence Security Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. We are looking for dedicated individuals who value security standards and can adapt to a flexible work environment. Ideal candidates will be cross-trained to work at multiple sites as needed, demonstrating reliability and adaptability across diverse settings.

Availability: Weekdays, weekends (Saturday or Sunday), and holidays

Licenses and Equipment:Valid State Driver's License

Valid BSIS Guard Card License

Valid BSIS Firearm Permit/LicenseOwn Vest & FirearmPreferred Training and Certifications:

Taser Training

Baton Permit

Handcuffs Certification

Pepper/OC Spray Certification

CPR/First Aid Certification (a plus)

Additional Education/Experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet programs

Prior Military or Law Enforcement experience (a plus)

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher is a plus)

Position Duties

Be cross-trained to perform duties across multiple sites, demonstrating adaptability

Respond to unusual or emergency situations

Maintain proficiency in the use of protective equipment and weapons

Control access to client sites

Monitor entrances and exitsReport incidents and activitiesEnforce regulations and directives

Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle

Conduct inspections and prepare reports
