Job description

USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app

This position will fulfill the responsibilities of the snowpack climatology grant subcontract from NOAA-Cornell University to QC data, analyze data, produce products for a webpage and manuscript, and produce reports and presentations as instructed.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Acquire snowpack data, QC the data and metadata, analyze the data to develop snowpack climatological statistics, and present results at meetings as requested.

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

  • A B.S. in Meteorology or related science degree.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • In depth knowledge of atmospheric science, of which a B.S. in Meteorology/Atmospheric Science fulfills.

Compensation Pay Range:

$25/hour
