Job description

Part-Time Merchandiser
Looking for flexible part-time work? Join G&J Pepsi as a Part-Time Merchandiser and help keep our products stocked, organized, and displayed at local retail locations. This opportunity is perfect for students, second-income earners, retirees, or anyone looking to earn extra income with flexible hours.
In this role, you'll work independently while interacting with customers, store management, and Pepsi team members to ensure our products are presented according to company standards and are always ready for consumers.
Schedule
  • Part-time: 20-25 hours per week
  • 4-5 Days/week - 5-hour shifts - 1-6pm OR 4-9pm
  • Weekends required
  • Additional hours and overtime may be available based on business needs
  • Must maintain reliable attendance

What You'll Do
  • Stock, rotate, and merchandise products in coolers, displays, vending equipment, and shelves
  • Maintain clean, organized displays and backroom areas
  • Clean coolers, vending machines, shelving, and other product locations
  • Work with store management and G&J Pepsi team members to identify sales opportunities and secure displays
  • Assist customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Communicate pricing, product, and merchandising opportunities to management
  • Assist with product ordering as needed
  • Complete required logs, mileage reports, and other documentation
  • Handle, stock, and organize alcohol products when applicable
  • Follow all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications
  • Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Experience

  • 0-1 years of merchandising, stocking, retail, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred

  • Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid driver's license required

  • Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment

  • Must have a personal vehicle or reliable transportation to travel to each assigned account

  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required industry licensing

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move heavy products repeatedly throughout the shift

  • Ability to drive between retail locations as required

  • Ability to perform stocking, organizing, bending, reaching, carrying, and other physical merchandising activities
