Job description

Huntington Learning Center is one of the largest K-12 Supplemental Education companies in the country. At our Fairfax Center, we provide individualized academic programs based on the specific educational needs of each student. We assess students and determine any "holes" or gaps in their academic foundation. We then follow prescribed academic programs to bring students' skills up to the point where they can work confidently and successfully at grade level. We focus on reading, writing, math and study skills. Programs also include us meeting with parents and teachers from school to ensure that each student has a program that best suits their needs.

We are seeking individuals with a passion for helping students learn. You will use a program that will allow you to easily access all curriculum, allowing you to focus on engaging with the student. If you are looking for a meaningful opportunity to make a difference by helping students recover from learning loss during the pandemic, this position may be a good fit for you. You also have flexibility to adjust the hours you are available from week to week to accommodate your changing schedule.
