Reports To: Director of Academics
Job Summary

Exploration Nation is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Math Tutor to provide individualized and small-group academic support. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students strengthen their math skills, build confidence, and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one and small-group math instruction.
  • Reinforce math concepts and provide homework, assessment, and test-preparation support.
  • Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate student progress and areas of concern with the Academic Director.
  • Maintain accurate tutoring notes and student progress documentation.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field, or currently pursuing a degree.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics and ability to explain concepts in an engaging and age-appropriate manner.
  • Previous tutoring, teaching, or youth-development experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, dependable, flexible, and passionate about student success.
  • Ability to work effectively with students with varying learning needs and abilities.
Compensation

Competitive 1099 hourly rate based on experience
