Scope of Position
Lewis and Clark Community College is currently seeking an Adjunct, Transfer-Level Math to work on the Godfrey, IL campus. LC's Mission is to empower people by raising aspirations and fostering achievement through dynamic, compassionate and responsible learning experiences. Key Measurable Expectations (KMEs)
  • Create, administer, and grade assignments of LC students;
  • Calculate and submit grades for students;
  • Collaborate with Professors on coursework;
  • Stay current on material in the needed field of study;
  • Provide support and guidance for students as needed.

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
  • 18 graduate level credit hours at an accredited college or university;
  • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Mathematics or Statistics.
  • Experience teaching at the community college level.

For Academic Year 2025-2026, the pay rate for adjunct faculty is $838 per lecture-equivalent hour.
