Job description

FT & PT Security Officers - $21.00/hr

HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Security Officers in the Valencia, CA area. This position offers a minimum of 5/6 month contract to support securing an on-going construction site. Sunstates Security provides the opportunity to migrate as a permanent officer if positions are available towards the end of the current contract. This position offers a pay rate of $21.00/hr - paid weekly.

Applicants based out of Los Angeles will not be considered for this position.

Schedules:

  • Swing: Wednesday - Sunday 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Grave: Friday - Tuesday 11:00pm - 7:00am
  • Other:
    • Sunday 7:00am - 3:00pm
    • Monday - Tuesday 3:00pm - 11:00pm
    • Wednesday - Thursday 11:00pm - 7:00am

Requirements:

  • Current CA Guard Card
  • Must have Power of Arrest and Weapons of Mass Destruction Certificate
  • 40-hour Certificate required
  • Interior/Exterior Facility patrol
  • Access Control
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Driving Record
  • Customer Service experience
  • Patrolling & de-escalation skilled required
  • Dispatching or concierge experience preferred
  • Prior security/military/law enforcement experience preferred

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
