Job description

Position Facility: Riverside
Our manufacturing members are the heart of our organization. Members of our manufacturing team, which includes machine operators, packaging, shipping and more, take pride in ensuring we produce only the highest-quality, most consistent products for our customers and consumers. Position Overview
Pay Range: $27.88/hr - $29.17/hr + $2.00 Shift Premium
Hours: 9:00pm - 5:30am, Wednesday-Saturday (On average 29 hours per week)
Responsibilities
• Consistently manufacture "great tasting" sausage products according to specifications.
• Participate in daily team meetings by offering ideas and suggestions, supporting team members and participating on team projects
• Work together with other Oven Operators, Frank O Matic Operators, and Packaging Members to obtain World Class results in safety, yields, and supply costs.
• Set goals and objectives; both personal and as a Team Member to acquire great performance in order to support the Johnsonville Way
• Learn and understand the cooked/smoked side of the process; train and coach Members on the process and provide rotation and break support to Members.
• Learn and complete the oven cleaning process.
• Load hoppers and ovens with bagged materials.
• Check and monitor product temperatures and PH levels.
• Weigh and transfer racks of finished material.
• Utilize SAP to monitor stages, timers, temperatures, and enter collected data.
• Responsible for the performance, productivity, and efficient utilization of resources.
• Create an environment that ensures Member involvement and implementation of programs, ideas, and guidelines that ensure fairness to all Members.
• Ensure appropriate Coaches/Members are aware of problems, issues, and events that could affect safety, food safety/quality, cost, customer service, Member development and BPTW.
• Willingness to assist in both the packaging and stuffing departments as needed.
Experience
• Manufacturing experience in the food Industry preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to function in a team-based environment.
• Work experiences that demonstrate the Johnsonville's Core Values, i.e., Integrity, Continuous Learning, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, and Innovation
• Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance (safety, USDA).
Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Basic math skills required
• Must be able to complete production documentation paperwork accurately. Attention to detail is a must.
• Must be able to navigate through computer screens and enter data into a computer program.
• Based on business necessity, must be proficient in English.
• Must be able to lift and push a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to train on 1st shift for the first 3-4 weeks.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check
