Part Time Leasing Consultant
Join our team as a Part-Time Leasing Consultant and help create an exceptional experience for current and future residents! This is a great opportunity to build valuable sales, customer service, and property management experience while working in a fun, energetic student housing environment.

Job Purpose
  • The Leasing Consultant supports leasing, marketing, and resident relations by delivering excellent customer service, supporting occupancy goals, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and company policies.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, prospects, guests, and vendors.
  • Lease apartments in alignment with occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Follow Fair Housing standards in all interactions.
  • Conduct tours and present community features and amenities.
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts.
  • Review applications including income, credit, and background screening.
  • Prepare and maintain lease files and required documentation.
  • Verify apartment readiness prior to move-in.
  • Support lease renewal and retention efforts.
  • Track leads, guest cards, and follow-ups in property management systems.
  • Respond to calls, emails, and resident communication professionally and timely.
  • Assist with work order entry and maintenance communication.
  • Support move-in processes including documentation and system setup.
  • Maintain leasing office, model units, and amenity presentation.
  • Maintain knowledge of market competitors, pricing, and concessions.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of lease terms, unit specifications, availability, current market conditions, and all community policies.
  • Ensure understanding of required application information, screening process, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Strong customer service and sales skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain lease documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills including percentages and rent calculations.
  • Ability to work weekends and peak leasing season schedules.

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Leasing, sales, marketing, or customer service experience preferred
