About Us:Amanda & Amber Business Consulting (A&A) is a boutique Human Resources and Change Management firm supporting small & medium sized organizations across Canada. We are a women-founded team, with a strong emphasis on work-life harmony, community involvement, and client-centered engagement. We are looking for a casual/part-time Intermediate Transformation (Change) Management Consultant to join our growing team. This role is primarily remote, with some in-person meetings or projects. Calgary based applicants will be given priority due to the occasional in-person requirement.The Role:As an Intermediate HR Transformation (Change) Specialist, you will partner with clients to lead and support organizational transformation efforts. You'll assess impacts, develop strategies, and deliver plans that foster adoption and minimize resistance, while building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. In many cases, you will also wear a project management hat-especially for smaller HR transformation initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered smoothly, on time, and with people at the center of the work.This is a client-facing role where you'll have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to large-scale transformations as well as targeted projects such as ERP, WMS, or HRIS implementations; restructures; post-merger/acquisition integration; and major process changes.Key Focus Areas:Change Management & Client Support Lead portions of change management workstreams within larger transformation projects. Conduct stakeholder analyses, impact assessments, and readiness evaluations. Build trust with client teams by providing practical, empathetic, and actionable guidance. Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and stakeholder feedback sessions. Project & Program Management Manage smaller transformation projects end-to-end, blending project management and change management approaches. Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and resources across client teams. Collaborate with HR, IT, and business leaders to align project outcomes with organizational goals. Communication, Training & Engagement Design and deliver communication strategies tailored to diverse audiences. Develop training plans, learning materials, and adoption supports. Support capability building within client organizations to ensure lasting change. Measurement & Continuous Improvement Monitor change adoption metrics and provide insights to improve outcomes. Translate data into actionable recommendations that drive business results. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within our consulting team. Our Ideal CandidateMust-Haves 2-5years of experience in change management, organizational development, human resources or consulting. Comfort wearing both change management and project management hats when needed. Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Solid understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter). Experience supporting HR-related change, such as technology implementations, restructures, or process changes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and change/project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Miro, Jira, MS Project). Availability for at least 15-20 hours per week, with at least 75% of hours overlapping with our core business hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm MT Friday: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm MT Nice-to-Haves Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Psychology, Communications, Human Resources or a related field. Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP). HR background or direct experience with HR change management. Experience with ERP, WMS, HRIS implementations, or post-merger/acquisition projects. Previous consulting or client-service experience.
