Job description

General Purpose
The primary purpose of your job position is to attend to and greet visitors and answer telephone. It is limited to clerical duties only and located and limited to the Reception/Administrative area. ***This position has no clinical involvement/duties of any kind***
Essential Duties
• Provide general administrative and clerical support.
• Greet and welcome patients, clients, and other visitors with a friendly and positive demeanor.
• Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls.
• Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations;
• Inform other employees of visitors' arrivals and cancellations.
• Maintain visitor sign- in log.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail
• Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings.
• Maintain and tidy the reception area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Agree not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.
Supervisory Requirements
This position has no supervisor responsibilities
Qualification
Education and/or Experience
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, clerical functions and multiline phone system.
