M365 Platform Engineer
The Opportunity:
Join a growing M365 platform engineering team supporting enterprise-scale collaboration, productivity, compliance, and automation services across a complex multi-segment environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across a broad technology portfolio, influence engineering standards, support strategic platform initiatives, and help scale secure, resilient, and well-governed services that enable the business. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
What You'll Work On:
  • Engineer and support solutions across core M365 platform workloads, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Purview, and Power Platform.
  • Contribute to architecture, engineering, and operational governance for platform services.
  • Support complex incident resolution, change implementation, and service improvements.
  • Partner across engineering, support, cybersecurity, and enterprise stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to standards, documentation, and repeatable engineering practices.
  • Support strategic initiatives related to automation, governance, collaboration, and platform modernization.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience with solutions engineering across core M365 workloads, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
  • Experience deploying Microsoft Purview solutions such as Sensitivity Labels, Data Lifecycle Management, and Data Loss Prevention
  • Experience performing deep level troubleshooting, scope determination, and root cause analysis, including communication with vendors, cross-functional teams, and leadership with varying technical backgrounds
  • Experience engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to lead complex technical initiatives, major escalations, and critical engineering workstreams
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience deploying or administering Proofpoint products such as Proofpoint Protection Server, Email Fraud Defense, Targeted Attack Protection, Threat Response Auto-Pull, and Secure Email Relay
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Experience mentoring others or coordinating technical work across teams
  • Experience supporting regulated, high-security, or complex enterprise environments

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
