Job description

CHE Behavioral Health Services is hiring a Part Time Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) to join our clinician-led, APA-approved behavioral health team.

Since 1995, CHE has been a national leader in adult and geriatric mental health, serving 100,000+ patients across 800+ facilities in 11+ states.

Why LPCs Choose CHE

  • Create your own schedule (Mon–Fri, 7 AM–7 PM)

  • Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 annually!

  • No nights, weekends, or on-call

  • Consistent, reliable caseload, no cancellations

  • Work close to home in partnered facilities

Requirements

  • Master’s degree

  • Active LPC license

What You’ll Do

  • Start by reviewing your schedule, checking for new referrals, and noting any changes in residents’ conditions

  • Meet with residents throughout the day for brief, focused therapy sessions (support, coping skills, mood, adjustment)

  • Complete initial assessments and update treatment plans for new or ongoing residents

  • Collaborate with nurses, rehab staff, and providers to discuss care needs and any behavioral concerns

  • Document sessions, treatment plans, and required notes to meet compliance and billing standards

  • Connect with family members when needed and plan your schedule and follow-ups for the next day

A Great Fit For:

  • Newly licensed LPCs

  • Clinicians seeking flexibility

  • Those looking for supplemental income

  • Therapists interested in adult & geriatric care
