Description
Shipping Pilot is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. As the primary point of contact for our clients, you will be responsible for providing timely communication, resolving issues, and building strong client relationships in a fast-paced logistics environment. This role is expected to begin as a part-time position (20-25 hours per week). The position is expected to transition to full-time hours from approximately Late November through early 2027 to provide temporary operational coverage before returning to part-time hours. Future hours may vary based on business needs. This is an on-site position located in Strongsville, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with clients via phone, email, and other channels.
  • Process and track orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to manage the flow of goods and address any disruptions.
  • Address and resolve client issues, including shipment discrepancies, delays, and other service-related challenges.
  • Liaise with internal departments to find solutions and provide updates to clients.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
  • Generate regular reports on service performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients.
  • Understand clients' business needs and logistics requirements to provide tailored solutions.
  • Proactively communicate with the customers if there are any concerns, delays, etc.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within Shipping Pilot and our customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer support role in a Warehouse environment.
  • Proven track record in client relationship management within warehouse or logistics settings, showcasing adeptness in project management practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field ~ Preferred
