Part-Time Fulfillment & Warehouse Specialist
Pay: Starting at $17.50 / hour, based on relevant experience and work history
Schedule:
  • Part-Time
  • 20-30 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday | Between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Experience Preferred: Previous fulfillment, shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, manufacturing, or quality support experience is preferred. Candidates with forklift experience and strong computer skills are encouraged to apply.

Here, you'll work alongside manufacturing, logistics, and customer service teams to help ensure products are accurately packaged, shipped, and delivered to customers while supporting the quality standards Quad is known for.
Position Summary
Quad is seeking a Part-Time Fulfillment Specialist to join our Hartford manufacturing team.
In this role, you'll accurately fulfill customer orders by packaging products, processing shipments, maintaining inventory, and supporting quality verification activities. You'll partner with manufacturing, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure products meet customer expectations and are shipped accurately and on time.
What You'll Do
  • Accurately select, pack, seal, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Produce and apply shipping labels using Quad operating systems.
  • Process outgoing shipments and prepare shipping documentation.
  • Receive incoming shipments and maintain accurate inventory of products and supplies.
  • Communicate inventory shortages to appropriate team members.
  • Partner with manufacturing departments to support product quality and customer requirements.
  • Evaluate products and communicate quality information to internal production teams and business partners.
  • Assist Customer Service with product returns and shipment discrepancies.
  • Track shipping information and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Follow all company safety policies and perform daily equipment inspections.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work independently to prioritize tasks and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous fulfillment, warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, inventory, manufacturing, or quality support experience is preferred.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, Big Joe lifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to learn and use Quad's operating systems and SmartTools.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand basic math, read a ruler, and work with fractional and decimal measurements.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English to safely perform job duties, follow work instructions, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to use hand tools and packaging equipment, including scissors and tape guns.
  • Ability to lift 10-20 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
