Direct Support Professional (PART TIME)

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Hours amp; Shifts: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts available. part time; work hours vary by location

Starting Pay: $17.25/hour with an additional $1.00 shift differential on weekends.

About the Role As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide primary support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, while fostering a teaching relationship that encourages healthy and productive personal growth, community inclusion, creativity, and independence.

Essential Functions of the Role

  • Promote and support the appropriate level of independent living; which may include teaching, oversight, and hands-on assistance with the activities of daily living
  • Encourage an individualโ€™s engagement in social and community activities as well as appropriate physical/wellness activities
  • Ensure an individualโ€™s health and safety needs are being met
  • Commit to being part of a team that creates and sustains a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace culture.

Candidate Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Current and valid driverโ€™s license (with fewer than 6 points) and vehicle insurance
  • Ability to pass a background check (includes physical and a drug screen, and criminal check)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
