Job description

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:  This position under the supervision of the library director performs a variety of public service duties to support daily library functions, including communications with customers, provides customer service, basic computer skilly and basic library duties.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: A high school diploma is required; library experience is preferred. Applicant must have a strong work ethic, be detail oriented, have a willingness to learn, and be able to work closely with team members and independently as needed. This position requires strong customer service skills, working knowledge of current Microsoft Office applications and use of office equipment, and knowledge of current technology trends. Applicant must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods of time, and meet the other physical demands of daily library work (see job description).
