Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will join a vibrant and inclusiveeducational community and have a desire and ability to work with a diversepopulation.  This is a part-time, studentemployment position with no benefits.  The Framingham Public Library is seeking an enthusiasticAdministrative Intern for its Literacy Unlimited program who is passionateabout working with a diverse population of adult English learners and volunteertutors. The ideal candidate will be organized and independent, capable ofsupporting ongoing administrative needs for the program and managingindependent projects designed to promote program growth. This is a part-time,student employment position with no benefits. This position will include 12-18hours of work per week, dependent on candidate availability and program need.Tasks performed will include a combination of administrative duties and directservices. 
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct initial intakes of walk-in students seeking English language services from Literacy Unlimited; assist prospective students with setting up a library card, checking out ESOL books, and creating Mango Languages accounts as needed;
 Assist with data entry tasks such as class attendance;
Manage the Literacy Unlimited Instagram account, posting regularly to promote program activities and encourage engagement;
Maintain organization and cleanliness of shared spaces including classrooms, Student Resource Center, lending library, and more;
Provide other miscellaneous assistance as needed to support the ongoing work of Literacy Unlimited staff and volunteers.
