Their responsibilities typically include showing available units to prospective tenants, answering questions about the property, processing rental applications, and assisting with lease signing. Working part time allows leasing consultants to have a more flexible schedule, making it a suitable option for students or those seeking supplemental income. They play a key role in maintaining high occupancy rates and providing excellent customer service to both current and potential residents.

One common challenge is staying updated on available units and resident needs when not on site full-time. To overcome this, effective communication with the full-time team and thorough handover notes are essential. Additionally, leveraging property management software can help streamline tasks and maintain continuity for both prospects and colleagues.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time leasing consultant?

These skills and qualifications are crucial for attracting and retaining tenants, meeting occupancy goals, and ensuring a positive experience for both residents and property owners.
