Job description

Job Summary:

The Utilities Operator is responsible for maintaining the professional appearance of WRI's property. The perfect candidate is an individual who has a strong work ethic and takes pride in their performance. This individual must adhere to and maintain strict compliance with corporate/office policies and procedures, established health and safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

General Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain upkeep of plant/ yard
  • Maintain cleanliness of the office
  • Maintain stock supplies
  • Operating lawn mower/ weed eater
  • Operating pressure washer
  • Painting railing, office, etc. as needed
  • Picking up trash
  • Equipment upkeep
  • Work outside year-round in all types of weather
  • May be exposed to varying levels of physical activities and physical extremes such as long periods of standing, walking, crouching, use of hands, and heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds or more
  • Perform Various task as assigned
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to climb a ladder and perform field work
General Qualifications:
  • Chemistry or Natural Science major preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and/or web-based software
