Schedule: Approximately 6-10 hours per week; Thursday afternoons required

About the Job:
It's an exciting time to join Four Corners Legacy Law!ย  We are growing so much that it's time to add a law clerk to our team.ย  We are looking for a friendly, reliable, detail-oriented and outgoing person who will be supported by everyone here at Four Corners Legacy Law.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Proofreading and Reviewing Estate Planning Documents: Ensure accuracy and notify the legal team of any corrections or issues.
  • Document Organization: Organize legal documents in client binders, following specific systems and procedures with attention to detail.
  • Document Preparation: Print, tab, and prepare legal documents for client binders.
  • Scanning & Digital Filing: Digitize hard-copy documents, name and categorize them following firm protocols.
  • Cloud File Management: Maintain and organize digital documents in the cloud, following our systemized processes.
  • Notarization & Witnessing: Notarize and/or witness legal documents during signings (Notary preferred).
  • Form & Template Management: Work with fillable forms and templates to prepare documents for client use.
  • File Audits: Ensure documents are complete with correct signatures and notaries and address any discrepancies.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe (specifically handling PDFs).
  • Excellent computer and technology skills with the ability to manage digital files and cloud-based systems are mandatory.
  • Strong client service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Notary (or willingness to become a notary).
  • High level of integrity and respect for client confidentiality.
  • Typing, word processing, and data entry skills with the ability to read and understand various legal documents.
  • Verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
  • Knowledge of Wealth Counsel is a plus.
