Evening Program Law Clerks (Part-Time)
The Law Offices of Jennifer J. Riley is seeking a highly motivated Law Clerk to join our busy and growing family law practice. This is a part-time, non-exempt position designed to complement a law students academic schedule, whether in a day or evening program.
The Law Clerk will work closely with one or more attorneys and provide support to senior members of the legal team. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced legal environment and is an excellent opportunity for a law student seeking practical exposure to family law matters.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda
Assisting with the preparation of pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Reviewing and summarizing case files, records, and discovery materials
Supporting attorneys with case strategy and trial preparation
Communicating with clients, courts, and third parties as needed
Performing general administrative and legal support tasks
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an accredited law school (evening program only)
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
