Legal Receptionist - Part-Time In-Office

Are you a talented multitasker who loves interacting with people? We’re looking for a positive and professional receptionist to be the face of our local business. You’ll welcome visitors, clients, and fellow employees, answer phone calls and emails, sort and deliver mail, schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, and assist us with other operations as needed. The ideal candidate is a great communicator with a strong work ethic who is interested in a meaningful role on a supportive team. If this sounds like you, apply today!

Compensation:

$18 - $20 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Arrange appointments for employees and keep the calendar up-to-date
  • Take incoming phone calls and respond to emails and ensure the appropriate people receive all relevant information
  • Follow the correct sign-in procedures for visitors to keep our building secure
  • Welcome fellow employees, clients, and visitors when they enter the building and give them any pertinent information or directions
  • Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and handle deliveries
  • Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Schedule client consultations and coordinate attorney calendars, including mediation and hearing dates.

  • Document uploading and filing.

  • Forward EEOC calls to the paralegal.

  • Accept and process client payments accurately and professionally.

  • Manage daily office supplies and light coordination with the billing coordinator.


Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and verbal communication skills
  • 1+ year of front desk receptionist experience or related job experience preferred
  • Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • Must have graduated high school, received a G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
