About the Job
Ruan is hiring part-time, Class A CDL and non-CDL yard drivers to be based in Fontana or Rialto, CA, to support our dedicated retail customer. Previous yard experience is required for both CDL and non CDL holders. For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826 .
Pay
Non-CDL drivers earn $21 per hour for a.m. shift and $24 per hour p.m. shift. CDL drivers earn $23 per hour for a.m. shift and $26 per hour p.m. shift. All shifts pay overtime after 8 hours per day. Floaters will have a main domicile but can work both Rialto and Fontana yards as needed and get paid an additional $0.75 per hour over base pay.
Schedule
Weekend shifts with overtime after 8 hours per day. Driver must be able to 2 to 3 days. Current shifts available Saturday to Monday, Friday to Saturday or Saturday to Monday, all shift hours work from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. except Friday works to 4:30 PM.
Equipment
Drivers will maneuver trailers via yard tractor at our facility. Previous yard experience is required, no exceptions.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
  • Additional qualifications will apply
  • Previous yard experience required
