Description
Job Purpose:
Responsible for grounds keeping and maintenance of the golf course.
Duties:
  • Safely operates equipment such as weed eaters and blowers used for various course maintenance needs
  • Cleans hand tools and grounds keeping tools after each use
  • Loads and unloads materials; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Shovel materials, i.e. sand, dirt, gravel, cement, etc.
  • Trims trees and removes cuttings
  • Collects and empties litter cans
  • Cleans gutters, drains and culverts
  • Waters plants and turf
  • Cuts grass, weeds and bushes
  • Rakes leaves and bunkers
  • Assists with special projects
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Be alert of surroundings to include golfers and employees

Requirements
Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to use hand tools such as weed eaters, shovels, picks, rakes, hedgers, etc.
Ability to drive a Truckster or a golf car
Must have digging skills
