Job Title: General Laborer / Part-Time Parking Lot Striping Technician

Job Description

This part-time, seasonal role offers the opportunity to work as a Parking Lot Striping Technician for a growing pavement marking and parking lot maintenance company. You will support parking lot striping and pavement marking projects on both day and night shifts, with occasional weekend work and flexible scheduling based on workload and weather. This position is ideal for individuals seeking additional income, hands-on construction experience, or an introduction to a skilled trade, with the potential to transition into a full-time, permanent role as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with parking lot striping, pavement marking, and layout projects to ensure accurate and professional results.
  • Operate striping equipment and related tools safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites and storage locations.
  • Prepare paint machines, including mixing materials and setting up equipment for use.
  • Install stencils and perform measurements and layout work according to project specifications.
  • Assist with job site setup, including traffic control and workspace organization, and perform thorough cleanup after each project.
  • Maintain, clean, and perform basic care on striping equipment and tools to keep them in good working condition.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Work outdoors on day and night shifts, including occasional weekends, as required by project schedules and weather conditions.
  • Represent the company professionally at customer job sites through respectful communication and a positive attitude.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to quality standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
