Job description

National practice of Neonatologists and Pediatric Specialists is looking for an NNP to join team in Albuquerque, NM.

  • Level 3 NICU with about 3,000 deliveries
  • Facility is licensed for 50+ beds but the daily census ranges widely from 15-25.
  • Take care of all gestational ages, but no surgery or ECMO.
  • All ventilatory modes are represented and the facility does have nitric oxide.
  • Providers get called to high risk deliveries but not necessarily every c-section.
  • Newborn nursery coverage as well.
  • Can work extra shifts in the newborn nursery or in the NICU for additional pay if desired.
  • Part-time or full-time available
  • Seven 24 hr shifts will be considered full time with the ability to do extra or bundle shifts.
  • EMR: Cerner


Responsibilities include:

  • Delivery Attendance
  • Day-To-Day Management Of NICU And Newborn Nursery Patients
  • Participate In Multi-Disciplinary Rounds To Provide Collaborative, Team-Based Care Of NICU Patients, Including But Not Limited To Ventilator Management, Nutrition Management, Lab Review, And Meeting With Families
  • High-Frequency Ventilation (Hfov and Hfjv), Inhaled Nitric Oxide, Therapeutic Hypothermia, Pediatric Surgery
  • No Cardiac Surgery, Except For Pdas; No Ecmo Subspecialty Support
