Position Summary
This position offers approximately 4 - 10 hours/week, usually divided among multiple shifts. Shifts are currently limited to weekday evenings (between 4 - 9pm) and weekend afternoons/evenings (between 12 - 9pm). is preferred. Must be self-motivated, confident, responsible, able to work well with others and willing to work nights and weekends. Work-study qualified candidates are given preference over those without.
Printmaking Lab Monitors are responsible for the orderly operation, maintenance, security and safety of the workshop during regularly assigned hours. They are expected to supervise and assist less experienced students when/if necessary and enforce appropriate shop behavior, including the correct use of tools/equipment. Monitors will be required to perform routine tasks every shift, assist with various shop improvement projects and report to the Area Lab Manager in regards to inventory, equipment/building issues and any behavioral problems.
