  • Prepare and deliver reminders to the client for upcoming care via text, email, and phone.

  • Assist clients in checking in and out as well as setting up appointments for follow-up care.

Requirements

  • Receive animals to be admitted for boarding recording what belongings they have with them.
  • Clean and disinfect kennel area as often as necessary.
  • Follow client instructions regarding the care and feeding of their boarded pets.
  • Able to handle and restrain hard to control animals.
  • Observe animal behavior and general physical condition; report any signs of illness, disease and discontent.
  • Walk boarded dogs several times a day to provide exercise and time for elimination.
  • Wash and dry towels and blankets.
  • Wash and sterilize food and water bowls.
Experience, Education and/or Training 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of kennel experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of veterinary hospital procedures and terminologies preferred.
