We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny in Hoboken, NJ 07030

A lovely family in Hoboken is seeking a part-time nanny for their two children, ages 1 and 4.5 years old, beginning in mid-August. Care is needed 2–3 afternoons per week, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. While the specific days will vary from week to week, the family is offering a minimum of 8 hours per week. They are looking for a nurturing, engaging, dependable, and flexible caregiver who enjoys creating a fun and supportive environment for young children.

  • Start date: Mid-August
  • Length of Position: June 2027, with the possibility of extending
  • Schedule: 2–3 weekdays (Monday–Thursday), 3:30 PM–7:30 PM
  • Compensation: $30-$35 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Pick up the children from daycare and preschool (both within a 5-minute walk)
  • Diaper changes for 1 year old
  • Prepare and serve dinner for the children
  • Engage the children in age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities
  • Light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas, children's dishes, etc.)

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of paid professional toddler care experience
  • CPR certified, or willing to become certified
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
  • Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
  • Must speak English

Compensation
This position pays $30-$35 per hour, and the family is looking for a minimum of 8 hours of care per week.
