We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.


American Leadership Academy - Johnston is now accepting applications for a Part-Time IT Support Technician for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check.


An IT Support Technician provides technical assistance and support to computer users within the school. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with network connectivity, and ensuring that IT systems run smoothly. The technician serves as the first point of contact for technical support, responding to inquiries, resolving problems, and escalating issues as needed.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in answering, evaluating and prioritizing requests for assistance from staff experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other IT related issues.
  • Assist in installing computers, software, and peripheral equipment.
  • Repair of computers, software, and other equipment with guidance from senior team member.
  • Maintain records of work in progress and completed jobs.
  • Assist in miscellaneous tasks as needed.
  • Required to lift up to 50 pounds in support of hardware installations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
