Part-time | In person | Flexible schedule | Minimum 20 hours per week

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Coral Springs is hiring a dependable, bilingual medical front-desk professional to serve as our Part-Time Bilingual Front Desk Coordinator / Medical Receptionist. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role for someone who can keep several clinicians' schedules organized, communicate confidently by phone and in person in both English and Spanish, and stay accurate when the front desk gets busy.

You will be the first and last point of contact for many of our patients. Your work directly affects whether referrals become scheduled evaluations, whether patients understand their next steps, and whether each clinician's day runs smoothly.

Position details

  • $22-$25 per hour, depending on directly relevant experience.
  • Flexible, part-time, in-person schedule with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
  • This part-time role does not include benefits.
  • A patient-focused clinic team.
  • Training on clinic workflows and systems.

Qualified candidates will complete a short phone screen that includes a brief Spanish conversation and a discussion of their scheduling experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage evaluations and follow-up visits across multiple clinicians' schedules.
  • Handle multi-line phones and provide scheduling, intake, reminders, cancellation support, and routine answers in English and Spanish.
  • Register patients and accurately enter demographic, referral, and visit information in the EMR.
  • Verify eligibility and benefits, track authorizations and visit limits, collect copays and payments, and route complex questions appropriately.
  • Track physician referrals, missing information, reports, and documentation.
  • Proactively fill cancellations and schedule gaps.
  • Coordinate closely with clinicians, the office manager, patients, physician offices, and billing.
  • Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional front desk.
Required Skills

Required qualifications

  • Professional spoken English and Spanish sufficient to independently handle detailed scheduling, intake, and routine insurance conversations.
  • At least one year of hands-on front-desk or patient-scheduling experience in a medical, dental, therapy, or outpatient practice.
  • Experience maintaining schedules for multiple clinicians or providers.
  • Comfort with high-volume calls, schedule changes, check-in and check-out, and accurate data entry.
  • Experience with an EMR or practice-management system.
  • Reliable attendance, follow-through, and calm patient service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, orthopedics, primary care, specialty care, or dental care.
  • Experience with insurance eligibility, benefits, authorizations, referrals, visit tracking, and patient payments.
  • Experience with Prompt EMR or a comparable system.
  • Experience filling cancellations and supporting patient retention.
